Love Pusheen? Get ready for the Pusheen pop-up cafe come January!

If you’re a fan of Pusheen the cat, you’ll be excited to know that this lovable cartoon kitty will open its first Pusheen cafe in Singapore next month! And word has it that the interior of the cafe will be designed by the creators themselves!

Created by American couple Claire Belton and Andrew Duff, this super fat and adorable little cat character has gained so much success! Pusheen the cat now has an entire franchise of books, films, and merchandise, including tie-ups with brands like H&M, Primark and ArtBox.

Just like the other themed cafes before this, like Hello Kitty and My Little Pony, the Pusheen cafe will be located at Jalan Klapa Cafe Kumoya and have their own customised menu. Here’s a little sneak peek at what to expect. Get ready to flood your Instagram account with super cuteness!

Three themed mains on the Pusheen cafe menu

The food and desserts you’re about to see are designed by food artist and Instagram star @littlemissbento a.k.a Shirley Wong who has also designed the dishes for other themed cafes in Singapore.

We cannot get over how cute this Pusheen truffle “aglio olio” or their Pusheen charcoal rice below lying in a bed of salad greens, surrounded by beetroot cream sauce and fried chicken.

Just imagine fans squealing at this uber cute Pusheen charcoal bun! But wait until you sink your teeth into this shrimp burger served with sesame mayonnaise.

Some of your food even comes with little mementoes that you can take with you. Like the limited edition Pusheen card that comes with these steamed green tea buns.

But nothing can beat the desserts you’ll be getting at the Pusheen cafe

Seriously, just look at this dessert dish that is made to look like a main. Fries made out of cookies paired with a fruit burger and unicorn coloured meringue. Even parents would turn a blind eye.

And how about this signature dessert that’s coming soon to Pusheen cafe? This work of art features Pusheen resting on a cloud of cotton candy and a strawberry swiss roll. It also comes with a lychee soft serve, meringue drops, Pusheen cookie crumbles and a Pusheen macaron.

Or this chocolate ball that will melt to reveal more goodies inside when hot milk is poured on top of it? Wouldn’t you want to find out what other delicious treats are hiding in there.

There will also be peach sodas with lychee jelly strips, topped with a cotton candy cloud!

And let’s not forget about their themed frappés! We hear there’s a strawberry cheesecake frappé and also a chocolate mint frappé available on the menu.

But if all you want is that warm feeling in the tummy while visiting such a cutesy place, don’t forget to order their hot chocolate. Made with quality Belgium chocolate, you’ll be feeling super comfy all over in no time.

Food is priced pretty reasonably ranging from $15 – $17, but really can you put a price tag on something so cute? See you there!
