Lindt creates their own luscious chocolate hazelnut spread
After over fifty years, will the world have a new favourite chocolate hazelnut spread?
Lindt is easily one of the most recognisable chocolatier brands around the world, which comes as no surprise, seeing as the Swiss confectionary giant has been around since 1845.
From chocolate bars to ice cream, Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG has established a long, delicious history of imaginative sweet treats.
So naturally, they want to offer new ways chocolate fans can enjoy their beloved flavours.
Behold, their latest offering: Lindt Hazelnut Spread.
Lindt Hazelnut Spread: Will it be different from Nutella?
Hazelnut spread has become synonymous with Ferrero Rocher's Nutella, which has been delighting dessert lovers for over 50 years, but Lindt is not about to let them have all the fun.
So they've come up with their own contender, Lindt Hazelnut spread, and their website promises that you can create a "delightful dessert or snack with full and intense flavour" thanks to the use of real LINDT chocolate combined with hazelnut.
This luscious spread with a "perfectly smooth texture" promises a nutty experience, as it is made with 40% hazelnut.

Though this product is only available in the UK and Europe for now, it's only a matter of time before Lindt hazelnut spread arrives in Asia.
Hint: But if you can't wait that long, you can buy some online.

You can slather it on a piece of toast or even use it to add tasty texture to your smoothie bowls. From doughnuts, cakes, cupcakes, tarts, ice cream, muffins, pretty any pastry or baked good can be made even more delicious by the flavours of hazelnut spread. I personally like adding hazelnut spread to my banana shake.
