Shake Shack Philippines will open its first outlet at Century Square!
New York's popular burger stand Shake Shack is set to open its first outlet in the Philippines with Central Square being its location, SSI Group announced Friday, 7 December.
In an Instagram post, SSI Group, the retailer bringing in the US-based burger joint, announced the location of the outlet where it will open in the first quarter of 2019.
The New York-based restaurant first announced on its official Facebook page the arrival in the country in July this year, with a caption "Mabuhay, Manila! We’re officially headed to the Philippines! We’ll be bringin’ the goods to the Pearl of the Orient in 2019. Let the countdown begin!
Shake Shack Philippines: What to expect?
Despite opening in New York as a hotdog stand back in 2001, Shake Shack is known for its 100% all-natural—i.e. no added hormones and no antibiotics ever—Angus beef burgers and flat-top Vienna beef dogs, 100% all-natural cage-free chicken, spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine and more.
Shake Shack Philippines's menu "will feature signature items including the ShackBurger, Shack-cago Dog, classic crinkle-cut fries, beer, wine and frozen custard ice cream." And as with all other branches all around the world, Shake Shack Philippines will also "work with local purveyors and producers to create a one-of-a-kind Shack for the Manila community."
Shake Shack Philippines is set to be the burger chain's first outlet in Southeast Asia.
